Pittsburgh

Welcome to the Pittsburgh Page

The City of PIttsburgh is a city which offers a person just about anything they would want, including pot holes. If you are interested in Amusement Parks, Concerts, Sports or Theater... you can find it in Pittsburgh.

Want to talk about famous people who were born or raised in and around a place... Pittsburgh has more than their share ranging from Mr. Rogers to Christine Aguilera.

How about ethnic diversity? Yep, you got it... Pittsburgh has that too and in abundance.

Pittsburghers consist of not only those who are born and raised inside the city limits, but also hundreds of thousands of those who lived in the neighboring boroughs and burgs. Even people as far away as Altoona and Johnstown have been known to claim they were from Pittsburgh.

The smoke filled skies are long gone along with many of the steel mills and breweries, but it still remains "The Steel City" to many of it's residents. Pittsburgh is also known as the city of bridges, it has been shown many times that you can't get from East Liberty to Downtown Pittsburgh with out going over or under at least one bridge. Pittsburgh is also a city of colleges, the most famous college in the city is the University of Pittsburgh.
